Adding a new voicemail box

Click Create a new voicemail box to get started, then enter a descriptive name, and a number to identify it.

Next, enter a passcode (numeric only and between 4 and 6 numbers in length), or leave it blank for a randomly generated one, then enter an E-mail address to receive a notification along with a copy of the voicemail message via email each time a message is left in your voicemail box.

After that, select or upload your own custom voicemail greeting, or leave it set to Don't play any custom audio for the default messages to be played to the caller if they reach the voicemail box.

If you choose your own voicemail greeting, we strongly recommend disabling the play instructions option, otherwise a standard "Leave your message after the tone" audio snippet will be played back to the caller.

You can limit the number of seconds that a voicemail message can be by entering a numeric value for the maximum message length.

Finally, By default, all voicemail messages will be deleted after 60 days. You can edit this to auto-delete messages after a time period of your choosing, up to 60 days, using the Retention period setting.

Just click Save to finish once you've entered the details.
